It can be useful to have multiple links for the same file; you can send different links to different recipients and control access priviledges for each link independently. If you later change or delete a link, the file can still be accessed through the remaining, active links.

Create multiple links

  2. Either click on My Docs (on the left side of the screen) or, as in the example below, on Email Transfer > Web (on the left side of the screen) in order to locate the file for which you would like to create multiple links.

  3. Click on the box to the left of the filename, then click on New Link in the top menu bar.
  4. If you want, set a Destination Link Name and/or a Link Password; these settings are optional. Click CONTINUE to proceed.
  5. Wait until Sendlinx has generated a new link for the file.
  6. The new link is now active and can be copied andsent to your chosen recipients.
  7. To create multiple links for the same file, repeat steps 2 to 5. You may create as many links as you need for the same file.

Manage links

It is essential to have full control over the links to your file(s) or folder, especially when you are inside an organization and the material you have uploaded is considered confidential. Sendlinx provides you with a link management feature that gives you peace of mind.

Click on Link Manager, on the left side of the screen, to access a summary of the transfer details and download links for each uploaded file of folder. Link Manager allows you to copy, change, or delete the links to any file or folder as well as to set or change a Link Password and/or an Expiry Date by clicking on the corresponding icons in the respective columns of this summary.
