Besides saving files or folders in the Sendlinx portal via Email Transfers, Sendlinx has also a My Docs feature that allows you to upload any files or folders that you wish to permanently save in your Sendlinx account.


How to upload files to My Docs

  1. Click the My Docs link located at the left-hand corner of the screen.

  2. Click Upload if you would like to upload file(s) or folder(s) in this directory which is Home > My Docs.

  3. There are two options to upload files. Either click Add Files to select specific files or click Select A Folder to upload a folder.

  4. If you chose Add Files, locate and select the files, then click Open.  Note: You may select multiple files at once. 
  5. If you chose Select A Folder, locate the folder then click Upload.

  6. The added files or folder will appear here. If you want to remove a file or folder, hover over the item(s) that you would like to delete, then click the highlighted button. Otherwise, click Upload.
     
  7. Click the Zip File option if you wish to zip the file(s) that will be uploaded

  8. You may rename the .zip file here. This option also allows you to set an Expiry Date/Time of the file(s) or add a Zip Password. Click Upload once done with the settings.

  9. Wait until the files are uploaded.



  10. Once the upload is complete, the files are now saved in the Home > My Docs folder.

  11. If you would like to upload a file inside another folder, click New Folder.
      
  12. Create a Folder Name, then click ADD FOLDER to proceed.

  13. The created folder will be displayed.

  14. Inside the created folder, click Upload then select the files that you would like to add in this folder.

 

How to create a download link for the files in My Docs

  1. Select the file(s) or folder(s) that you would like to create a download link for, then click New Link.

  2. You may enter a Destination Link Name or create a Link Password. Click CONTINUE to generate the download link.

  3. You have successfully created a download link and is now ready to be shared.



How to delete files in My Docs

  • Select the file(s) or folder(s) that you would like to remove from My Docs, then click Delete.

  • On the following pop-up window, review the file(s) or folder(s) to be deleted, then click DELETE to proceed. Otherwise, click CANCEL.

The files or folders are now deleted. 


How to download files from My Docs

  1. Locate and select the file(s) or folder(s) that you would like to download, then click Download to proceed.

  2. Wait until the files are downloaded, then click OK.


  3. Go to your Downloads folder. If you have downloaded more than one file, it will be automatically compressed to a .zip file. Extract the .zip file to access the files.
